Do I have to join a Tribe?

Yes. To join the Crystal Sanctuary you need to contact a Tribal Leader and ask to join their Tribe. If you can not find a Tribe to join or can not find a Tribe that fits your needs you can join the Crystal Tribe to start. After joining the Crystal Tribe you can join a different Tribe later or even start your own.
