The Murphys only mine with hand tools, not using heavy equipment.\u00a0 They never conducted commercial mining because they wanted to retain the natural beauty and energy of the land. The mine is open to the public to enjoy true old-time rock-hounding,\u00a0 digging for their own crystals in the actual veins of quartz in the earth!\u00a0 The Murphys enjoyed sharing this beautiful venue with their visitors, until suddenly their lives changed forever.\u00a0 As the Murphys describe it,\u00a0 <strong>&#8220;We are just normal people who suddenly had a paranormal experience.&#8221; <\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Here&#8217;s what happened:<\/p><p>On the night of February 18, 2017, they experienced their first &#8220;paranormal&#8221; sighting literally in their own back yard. They and their adult son, Josh White, witnessed the appearance of 3 large columns of bright white light in the crystal mine, seeming to shoot up about 300 feet into the night sky. The beams lasted about 10 seconds, then disappeared. The witnesses were stunned and wondered who or what could have caused such huge beams of light on their rural property when nothing was there except woods and pasture.<\/p><p>The next morning, upon investigating the site, they found astonishing evidence left behind, which attracted the attention of both <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>MUFON<\/strong><\/span> (Mutual UFO Network) and <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Josh Gates, host of Travel Channel\u2019s \u201cExpedition Unknown\u201d<\/strong><\/span> who filmed an investigation at the mine. (Click &#8220;<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">See us on TV<\/span>&#8221; at the top of this website to watch the show.)<\/p><p>Other types of phenomena began to manifest, including orbs, rock levitation, various celestial and terrestrial sightings, attracting the attention of Native Americans, metaphysical and spiritual leaders, and investigative scientists.\u00a0 It was suggested to the Murphys to open the &#8220;Event Site&#8221; to the public. The &#8220;UnXplained Tours&#8221; were created in August of 2017, to allow the public access to an <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">active site<\/span><\/strong> with a chance to <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">experience<\/span><\/strong> the phenomena for themselves!\u00a0<\/p><p>The Murphys discovered by going public, they weren&#8217;t the only ones who experienced the &#8220;UnXplained&#8221;!\u00a0 Many visitors, including local residents, shared their own amazing stories about strange sightings, with the Murphys! Obviously, most people who experience such things, don&#8217;t share with others, for fear of being ridiculed! It&#8217;s nice to find others who you can talk to, and will understand and <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">BELIEVE YOU<\/span><\/strong>!<\/p><p>Board Camp Crystal mine is a truly a <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">unique<\/span><\/strong> venue because it offers <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">public access<\/span><\/strong>, whereas most venues reporting anomalies are on private property. The phenomena <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">CONTINUES<\/span><\/strong> to this day, now witnessed by <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">hundreds<\/span> of visitors! Of course, there is <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">no guarantee<\/span><\/strong> that any visitor might experience phenomena&#8230; the phenomena doesn&#8217;t come with an on\/off switch!\u00a0 So&#8230; <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">COME SEE FOR YOURSELF<\/span>!\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>(Dig for crystals during the day, then enjoy the tour at night!)<\/p><p>Skeptics are welcome! The Murphys were skeptics too, before their experience!\u00a0 Come with an open mind and please be respectful!\u00a0 The Murphys respect others&#8217; faith and life views.\u00a0 In their own Christian faith, they found comfort regarding the unexplained phenomena, through a teaching by Dr. Billy Graham titled, &#8220;<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>The Mysteries of God<\/strong><\/span>&#8221; which can be found online.\u00a0 Quoting from Dr. Graham: &#8220;All of the garnered wisdom of the ages is only a scratch on the surface of man\u2019s search for the knowledge of the universe. For the most part, God retains His secrets, and man standing on his intellectual tiptoes, can comprehend only a small fraction of the Lord\u2019s doings. This inability to comprehend fully the mysteries of God does not in any way curtail the Christian faith. On the contrary, it enhances our belief.&#8221;\u00a0 Thank you, Dr. Graham.
