DISCLOSURE OF REGULATIONS<\/u>\u00a0&\u00a0SITE-SPECIFIC SAFETY TRAINING<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

FOR ENTERING CRYSTAL MINE EVENT SITE<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

All Visitors age 18 and up are\u00a0required<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0to read these regulations and participate in this \u2018site-specific safety training<\/strong><\/u>\u2019 prior to entering the mine, and\u00a0sign a waiver of liability<\/u>.\u00a0\u00a0READ ALL BEFORE YOU SIGN<\/u>!\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>The following comply with Federal regulations as outlined by the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA<\/strong>), Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ<\/strong>), and\u00a0must be followed for YOUR SAFETY<\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. The mine is located in an\u00a0uncontrolled wilderness environment<\/strong>\u00a0and Visitors agree to take\u00a0full responsibility<\/strong>\u00a0for their health, safety and welfare in that environment. Possible hazards may include but are not limited to:\u00a0ticks, poison ivy, briars, ants, insects, snakes, wild animals, dogs, sunburn<\/u><\/strong>,<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

     <\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Regarding your personal health, visitors must be in generally good health. There are occasions when visitors have experienced dizziness, light-headedness, nausea, weak knees, heaviness in chest, or other uneasy feelings.\u00a0\u00a0If you do not feel well for any reason, sit down, and ask for help. Management reserves the right to call emergency services at visitors\u2019 expense<\/u><\/strong>. Persons with limitations are welcome but assume full responsibility for their health and equipment. \u00a0Dogs MUST be tethered at all times<\/u>!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      1. Visitors\u00a0assume full responsibility<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0for their children under age 18, possessions, vehicles and equipment. Electronic equipment has been known to malfunction upon visiting for unknown reasons.\u00a0 It is recommended that visitors turn off cell phones in the mine area, and use caution when operating devices.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        1. USE CAUTION<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0at the mine site.\u00a0WATCH YOUR STEP<\/u><\/strong>! Restrain yourselves & children from running!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

           <\/p>\n

          1. NO<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0alcohol, illegal substances, or weapons are permitted in the mine. Vaping or Smoking is permitted\u00a0at the parking area ONLY<\/u><\/strong>;\u00a0please do not litter!<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0Extinguish butts inside vehicles (Federal law).<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

              \n
            1. Visitors agree to\u00a0drive on mine roads<\/u>\u00a0only, not drive off-road, and abide by the posted\u00a0speed of\u00a05 mph<\/strong><\/u>,<\/strong>\u00a0and to set parking breaks upon arrival. Visitors agree to not go or dig beyond\u00a0POSTED SIGNS<\/u><\/strong>. (show sign)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

               <\/p>\n

                \n
              1. Crystals have\u00a0SHARP<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0edges or points that can cause cuts. We have a\u00a0First-Aid kit<\/u>\u00a0if needed.\u00a0 It is recommended to wear hand and\/or eye protection while digging or handling crystals.\u00a0\u00a0Do not\u00a0HAMMER<\/strong><\/u>\u00a0rocks, ground, due to flying debris. Do\u00a0NOT<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0dig under trees taller than you<\/u>! (Timber!)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  \n
                1. Food and drinks may be brought; all\u00a0TRASH must be carried OUT<\/u><\/strong>.\u00a0NO glass<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0is allowed in the mine.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                   <\/p>\n

                    \n
                  1. In event of\u00a0severe weather or other emergency<\/u>, all Visitors will be\u00a0required to exit<\/u>\u00a0the premises\u00a0IMMEDIATELY<\/strong>.\u00a0Do not panic or run<\/u><\/strong>. Gather personal belongings and return to the\u00a0STORE<\/strong>\u00a0for further instruction. There are\u00a0NO<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0storm safe structures on the premises.\u00a0In case of\u00a0LIGHTNING<\/strong>, shelter in car<\/u>.\u00a0REFUNDS<\/u><\/strong>: Staff may grant\u00a0full\u00a0<\/u>refunds\u00a0before first 20 minutes<\/u>, no crystals may be taken if full refund<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                     <\/p>\n

                      \n
                    1. In event of any emergency, call 911<\/u>.\u00a0<\/strong>Report any other problems\u00a0immediately<\/u>\u00a0to staff.\u00a0Management reserves the right to refuse service, at its discretion, to anyone for any reason at any time<\/u>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                        \n
                      1. Upon finishing with the digging<\/u>,\u00a0STOP BY the store to check out<\/u><\/strong>. Staff will\u00a0take a photo of how\u00a0FULL<\/strong>\u00a0the yellow bucket is<\/u>, then your crystals may be removed. You keep what you find!\u00a0Return bucket & tools.<\/u><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                        ***Extra buckets OR rocks that do not fit in bucket, are charged an extra $10 each, Thank you<\/u><\/strong>!***<\/p>\n

                        1. All Visitors\u00a0agree<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0to hold Board Camp Crystal Mine LLC, and its associates,\u00a0harmless of any and all liability<\/u>.
